## Classic lashes

One extension is attached to one natural lash. A natural and light result that suits every day or a first set.

## Light volume lashes

A hand-made fan of 2–3 fibres is attached to each natural lash. Denser and fuller than classic eyelash extensions, yet the result still stays natural.

## Dark volume lashes

A hand-made fan of 3–4 fibres is attached to each natural lash. A dense, full result.

## Hybrid / mix lash extensions

A mix of classic and light volume: fans and single extensions applied alternately. The result depends largely on how dense your own lashes are.

## Wet look lash extensions

A closed fan of three extensions is attached to each natural lash, giving the effect of freshly applied mascara.

## Wispy lash extensions

A mix of closed and open volume fans of varying lengths, which creates a textured, deliberately uneven lash line. The result is piecey and airy.

## Lash glossary

The lash technician’s vocabulary explained in plain words, so you know exactly what you are booking.

- **Eyelash extension** — A light synthetic fibre attached to a single natural lash. The extension moves with that lash and falls out when the lash naturally sheds.
- **Classic technique (1:1)** — Exactly one extension is attached to one natural lash. The result is natural and light – like your own lashes, just fuller and longer.
- **Volume technique (2D-4D)** — A hand-made fan of several ultra-fine fibres is attached to one lash. The number is how many fibres are in the fan: 2D is two, 4D is four. More fibres means a fuller result, not a heavier one – each fibre is thinner to match.
- **Hybrid lashes** — Classic and volume technique mixed in one set: single extensions and fans are applied alternately. The result is textured and less uniform, and depends largely on how dense the natural lashes are.
- **Wet look** — A volume-technique style in which the three-fibre fan is kept closed rather than fanned out. The lash line looks evenly covered, as if mascara had just been applied.
- **Wispy** — A volume-technique style in which closed and open fans of different lengths alternate along the lash line. The outline stays spiked and piecey, and the look airy rather than perfectly even.
- **Maintenance (refill)** — An appointment where grown-out and loose extensions are removed and the gaps filled with new ones. Cheaper and quicker than a new full set, but only priced as maintenance if not too long has passed since the last visit.
- **Isolation** — Separating one natural lash from all its neighbours before attaching the extension. It is the single most important step for lash health: if two lashes are glued together, the faster-growing one pulls the other out.
- **Curl** — How much the extension curves upward. Curls are marked with letters – a gentler curl follows the natural lash, a stronger one opens the eye more. We pick yours based on your eye shape and the direction your lashes grow.
- **Lash growth cycle** — A natural lash grows, rests and sheds over roughly 6–8 weeks, and every lash sits at a different point in that cycle. This is why a set thins out gradually, and why maintenance is needed every 2–3 weeks.
